PERU – The Families In Crisis Task Force will hold a Christmas present give-out for parents and grandparents of needy children in Oxford County.
The task force needs help from individuals and businesses for items for teenagers, ages 12 to 17.
Donations can be mailed to the Families in Crisis Task Force, P.O. Box 192, Peru, ME 04290. Money or items can be dropped off at the Rockemeka Grange Hall, 92 Peru Center Road, across from the town hall, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday or Thursday.
Ideas include older kids’ games, backpacks, radios, wireless remote control vehicles, Game Boy games, makeup, hygiene items, puzzles, hats, gloves, scarf’s, mittens, store certificate and sports items.
