RUMFORD – The SeniorsPlus dining site in the Rumford Community Center needs volunteers willing to help keep the senior lunch program running smoothly. Help is needed with greeting people, serving meals and planning special events as well as filling in for the site coordinator when necessary.
Nutritious meals are served through the SeniorsPlus program at the Rumford Community Center, 50 Congress St., at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
In addition, there are monthly Lunch and Learn programs and special holiday events and meals. The program offers seniors and others a meal at a reasonable price and provides an opportunity for socialization and friendship.
