POLAND – Poland Community Church members are finalizing plans for the annual Christmas fair to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the church, 1212 Maine St.
A full/queen size quilt made by women of the church will be raffled. Church bakers will offer a variety of baked goods, cookies and baked beans (to go). The “twice nice” table will offer bargains for the thrifty shopper.
A silent auction will be held and other items will include Christmas wreaths, cutlery, cheese, handmade crafts, quilted items, jewelry and books.
A special “Kids’ Korner” will allow children to purchase items for their family. A sit-down lunch consisting of homemade fish chowder, soups and sandwiches will be available at midday.
The church is located across from Ricker Library. For more information, call 998-2535 or 998-2055.
