FAYETTE – Funeral services for Velma Brown of Fayette were held Monday afternoon from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Route 133, Jay, with Harold Souther officiating. Pallbearers were Kenny Mitchell, Papul Mitchell, Duane Mitchell, Clark Souther, Johnny Blaisdell, Scott Brown, Rick Teele and Tommy Welch, with Matt Lord as honorary bearer. Burial was at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, East Livermore. Following services, all were invited to a family reception at the home of her son, Danny, on the Camp Ground Road, Fayette.
