BUCKFIELD – The Lewiston Chapter of Compassionate Friends will hold a candle-lighting ceremony at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, in memory of children who have died.
A short program will take place at the Buckfield Community Church.
Coffee and light refreshments will follow. A memory table will be available for photographs of children and siblings.
The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting is held every year on the second Sunday in December at 7 p.m. local time for one hour in each time zone around the globe – a 24-hour remembrance of all children who have died.
