FARMINGTON – Melanie Meader has been appointed controller at Franklin Community Health Network.

Meader will be responsible for managing the network’s financials, including accounting, reporting and control functions, as well as overseeing the accounting department. Meader will also assist in preparing hospital and affiliate budgets.

Meader was a senior financial auditor at Maine General in Augusta. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree in business administration from Thomas College in Waterville. She is a licensed certified public accountant.

Meader resides in Belgrade with her husband, Rob, and their daughter, Paige.
