SPC David Grenier, a 2002 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, where he played football, joined the Army in June 2002. He did his basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., and was stationed in Korea for one and a half years. He met and married his future wife, May Choi, in July of 2005.

Grenier is stationed in Kuwait. His new assignment is driving supply trucks into Iraq. He is the son of James and Beverly Grenier of Oxford and grandson of Conrad and Florence Grenier of Lewiston. His address is: SPC David Grenier, 28th TRANS, 4th PLT, Bravo Btry, 1st/77FA, APO.AE 09366.

Mark R. Lovering, 18, of Hebron, graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot, Parris Island, S.C. After training at field artillery school, Fort Still, Okla., he will be stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp, Camp Lejeune, N.C. He has received a National Defense Ribbon and Sharp Shooter Rifle Award.
