NAPLES – Norman W. Cribby Jr., 57, died peacefully at his home Monday, Nov. 28.
He was born in Portland on Oct. 5, 1948, the son of Norman W. and Dorothy (Moran) Cribby. He graduated from South Portland High School and attended the University of Southern Maine.
He was employed by Maine Central Railroad, South Portland, Lou-Rod Candy, Lewiston, and for the past several years at Hancock Lumber, Casco.
Norm’s passions were first and foremost his family and friends, followed closely by woodworking, hunting and fishing in the woods of Jackman, and boating on Brandy Pond and the lakes of our region.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi; his son, Derek; daughter-in-law, Katie; and grandsons, Connor and Matthew, of Naples; his son, Alex of Tampa, Fla.; sister, Julie; brother-in-law, Michael; and nephews, Mike and T.J. of South Portland; and sister Betty and brother-in-law Randy Seifert of Wellborn, Fla.
