NORWAY – The opening reception for the Commons Art Collective’s December show will run from 7 to 9 p.m. today at 447 Main St.

Artists include Maya Best, Arla Patch, Gregg Shattenberg, Michael Raymond, Scott Vlaun, Debra Wentworth, Alan Day, Katey Branch, Don Best, Mary Brooking, Lori Christmastree, Joanna Reese, Om Devi Reynolds. Also, Nikki Milonzi, Mark Brandhorst, Gemma Dreher, Steve Traficonte, Sarah Shepley, Rebecca Verrill, Tom Foley and Zizi Vlaun.

A wide spectrum of creative expression through two- and three-dimensional media will be on display throughout the month of December, with a special holiday addition of a “craft” table featuring jewelry and other gift possibilities for the artistically-oriented shopper.

In addition to the opening reception hours on Dec. 2, the gallery of the Commons is open to the public from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. It is accessible through the Fare Share Market next door during the market’s regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.
