FARMINGTON – Carol W. Taylor, 65, of Chesterville, died unexpectedly early Friday morning, Dec. 2, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington.
She was born Feb. 3, 1940, in Farmington, a daughter of Thomas S. and Madeline (Wing) Wetmore. She attended Chesterville and Farmington schools, graduating from Farmington High School.
On Jan. 14, 1961, she married Conrad Taylor in Chesterville, where they made their home.
She worked at G.H. Bass in Wilton, Farmington Shoe and later for Forster Mfg. Co.
Her passion in life was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved stock car racing, which was also a family event.
She is survived by her husband, Conrad, of nearly 45 years, of Chesterville; a son, Jeff and his wife, Penny, of Mercer; a daughter, Lori Robbins and her husband, Brian, of Jay; a sister, Elnora Clement and her husband, Philip, of Durham; and four grandchildren, Tally and Tate Hodgdon of Jay, Brittany Barnes of Mercer, and Alicia Barnes of Gray.
She was predeceased by her parents.
