ASHBURN, Va. (AP) – Washington Redskins defensive tackle Cedric Killings injured his groin during practice Friday and was listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams.

The injury leaves the Redskins short-handed once again in the middle of the defensive line. Joe Salave’a isn’t expected to play after aggravating his foot injury last week against San Diego, and Cornelius Griffin is still recovering from a hip injury that caused him to miss three games.

The Redskins are expected to rely on Griffin and a rotation involving Ryan Boschetti, Aki Jones and converted end Demetric Evans at tackle against the Rams.

Also, H-back Mike Sellers practiced Friday and has been upgraded to probable. He missed last week’s game with a cracked rib.

Running back Ladell Betts is expected to sit out again with a sprained knee, receiver James Thrash was ruled out for the second straight game with a pulled hamstring.
