WATERVILLE – Travis Carrier shot 11-for-14 from the field and finished with 26 points and eight rebounds to lead University of Maine at Farmington to an 81-59 win over Brooklyn College.

Travis Magnusson chipped in with 11 points and eight assists for the Beavers (5-1).

Ilya Levin scored 15 and Allen Coston added 12 for Brooklyn (4-2).

Maine 3, Northeastern 2

BOSTON, MA – Sonia Corriveau scored a goal and added an assist to lead the University of Maine women to a 3-2 victory over Northeastern.

Northeastern (4-12-1) drew first blood when Crystal Rochon found the back of the net off a pass from Jennifer Beaudoin. The Black Bears got three straight goals from Brigitte Laflamme, Corriveau and Vanessa Vani to seal the game.
