LISBON – Valerie Chipman, a local musician, is now accepting piano and vocal students in her home in Lisbon. A 1981 graduate of the University of Southern Maine, she has a bachelor’s degree in music education with a concentration in piano and voice. She has taught in both the private and public sector, as well as directing church choirs for many years.

Chipman is accepting both adults and children as students. She will teach beginning and advanced piano students starting at age 6, as well as beginning vocal students ages 12 and up. To schedule an appointment or for further information, people can send an e-mail to: [email protected].
