HADLEY, Mass. – Meg Coffin returned to the Bates women’s basketball lineup and helped spark the Bobcats to three victories, earning the junior center New England Small College Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.

Coffin missed the first three games of the season with back pain, but returned against Husson and dominated the game with 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, five blocked shots and five steals. Coffin went on to earn All-Tournament honors with her strong play at the Williams Tournament as Bates defeated Worcester State 81-57 before downing host Williams 78-64 in the championship game.

Coffin is averaging 18.3 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and 1.7 steals since returning from the injury.
