LEWISTON – Kathleen Szostek, Jay-Livermore-Livermore Falls Chamber member and Realtor with Leavitt Realty Group, is the newly elected president of the Lewiston-Auburn Toastmasters Club.

The first Toastmasters Club was formed in 1924, and clubs have since spread throughout the globe to countries from Argentina to Zambia. Szostek speaks enthusiastically of the Lewiston-Auburn club, “I love the diversity of our membership: in ages, careers, interests,” she said.

The group meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the Auburn Police Department. Guests are welcome. Call Szostek at 897-6158 for more information.
