PORTLAND – Gov. John Baldacci will discuss Maine’s international connections and plans for the future at the Governor’s International Community Breakfast, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Maine.
Baldacci will make remarks on the impact of his 2005 fall Trade Mission to France and the importance of establishing relationships with businesses and international dignitaries to promote trade beyond Maine’s borders.
Joining Baldacci will be Richard Coyle, president of the Maine International Trade Center, who will speak about “Maine in the Global Economy.”
The breakfast will be held at the Holiday Inn By the Bay on Thursday, Dec. 15, beginning at 6:45 a.m. for networking and breakfast at 7:15 a.m. The program is expected to run from 7:45 to 9 a.m. Cost is $10 for students; $20 for members/cooperating organizations; and $25 general public.
