CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A former youth minister in Northfield has been sentenced to up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl he was babysitting.

Scott Nash, 45, pleaded guilty as part of a deal in which prosecutors dropped two other sexual assault charges.

In October, a judge rejected Nash’s guilty plea because the sentencing agreement did not require him to register as a sex offender. Under the current arrangement, Nash will serve two to five years in prison and register as a sex offender when released.
