HANOVER, N.H. (AP) – Some Dartmouth College students are helping residents in Nicaragua open a new chapter in their lives.
A group of 27 students, plus faculty and staff, are headed to the village of Siuna, Nicaragua, for a two-week community-building trip. Part of the group will provide health care and the other will focus on agricultural projects.
The college’s William Jewett Tucker Foundation and the Nicaraguan organization Bridges to Community are sponsoring the trip. It’s the fifth of its kind taken by Dartmouth staff and students.
