DIXFIELD – State Senator Chandler Woodcock, R-Farmington, a candidate for Maine governor in the June 2006 Republican primary, will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday, Dec. 13, meeting of the Oxford County Republican Committee.

The session will be held at the Dixfield Congregational Church on High Street beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by a 6:30 dinner, after which Woodcock will speak on his candidacy. There will be a short business meeting. All Republicans are invited.

The next meeting will be on Jan. 10 at the North Waterford Congregational Church with gubernatorial candidate David Emery as the featured speaker.
