Merrill will demonstrate how to prepare healthy, tasty and tempting sweets and treats for the holiday table. The evening also will include festive ways to garnish holiday dishes.

“This can be a wonderful opportunity to learn some new and creative holiday dining tips,” said Pat Watson, dietitian and diabetes educator at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Funded by a grant from the Maine Diabetes and Prevention Program, the cooking demonstration will take place in the culinary arts dining room of the school. For more information, call Betty Sirois or Pat Watson at 743.1562, ext. 773.
