AUBURN – James Handy of Lewiston, a longtime communications and training professional, has joined the staff of the Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College as a corporate training coordinator.

Handy will be responsible for working with area businesses and other organizations to assess their needs and provide customized training solutions.

Handy’s experience includes 12 years in the Maine state Legislature and 14 years in communications and training at L.L. Bean.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with honors from the University of Southern Maine.
