CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – One person has died after fire gutted a duplex across the street from the State Prison early Friday.

Robert McMillan, 84, was rescued from the building but died later at Massachusetts General Hospital.

The general-alarm fire hit around 12:25 a.m. Fire Lt. Ken Kiehl said firefighters from Concord and eleven communities had it out by about 4:30.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
