Who do Medicare officials think they are kidding? They keep saying the new prescription drug plans are going to save the elderly a lot of money on their prescriptions. The truth is that the elderly are being taken advantage of.

I have examined several plans and most of them cost more for the co-payments than the present drug plan I have. Plus, the fact that, with the new premium costs added, as in my case, it will cost me at least $70 more a month.

It sounds to me like Medicare officials are misleading the public, and there doesn’t seem to be a thing the public can do about it.

I hope someone will look into the matter.
