LEWISTON – Scott Cote will serve as master of ceremonies for the fourth annual Christmas Concert being presented by the All-Student Theatre Project on Thursday, Dec. 22, at Lewiston Middle School auditorium, Central Avenue.

Cote, fresh from performing last year on a Disney cruise, is well known in theater circles, having performed many times on the Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre stage and in other venues in Maine and New York City.

Cote is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC, and an Auburn resident. Many CLT patrons will remember his role two seasons ago as Cosmo Brown in CLT’s “Singin’ in the Rain.”

The concert will begin at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30. The program will feature high school and college students from the greater Lewiston/Auburn community accompanied by musicians from instrumental ensembles in Maine.

Colin Britt is musical director and is a familiar presence in L/A as a pianist, composer, actor and for his musical direction skills. He is a junior at Hartt School of Music at University of Hartford, Conn., studying music composition and conducting.

Among Christmas old favorites will be “The Christmas Song,” “A Christmas Lullaby,” “Ave Maria,” “Gloria in Excelsis Deo,” “Carol of the Bells” and “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

Performers will include Britt, Cote, Joel Biron, Raechel Biron, Tiffany Boisvert, Amy Churchill, Abi Church, Mallory Cyr, Carolyne Deblois, Ryan Delorme, Heidi Dorris, Brian Doyon, Nathan Faucher, Danielle Gagne, Kelsey Gamble, Hannah Giasson, Michael Girouard, Adam Gould, Alexis Handy, Rachel Hanscom, Laura Harder, Kacie Herrick, Brandon Kelly, Maria Kovacs, Mary Martin, Seth Morton, Mariah Perry, Aimee Poulin, Adrea Quirion, Vincent Ratsavong, Carlee Robinson, Lucas Rau, Danielle Sabine, Katie St. Pierre, Elizabeth Snyder, Adam Talpey, Alison Traynor, Zachary Trefsger and Hilary Walker.

The event will benefit the Child Health Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters programs. Donations will be accepted at the door.
