LEWISTON – Fleurette C. Caron, 86, of Maison Marcotte, 100 Campus Ave., died Monday evening, Dec. 12, at d’Youville Pavilion with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on May 27, 1919, the daughter of Ernest and Lucienne (Beaudoin) Cloutier, and had been a resident of this community all of her life.
She married Lucien A. Caron on Sept. 10, 1938; he died on Jan. 1, 1994. She was employed at Bath Iron Works, Continental Mill, Rock Maple Wood Heel and Maine Shoe.
She enjoyed reading and knitting, and had a passion for beano. She participated in and enjoyed many trips with the senior citizens.
She is survived by two daughters, Lucille Clermont of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jeannette Mathis of Hendersonville, Tenn.; one son, Armand Joseph Caron and his wife, Lorraine, of Livermore Falls; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
