LEWISTON – Juline Sarah Danse, 56, of Storr Road in West Bowdoin, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon, Dec. 12, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lisbon Falls on Feb. 27, 1949, a daughter to Lionel W. and Madelyn S. Barrett Tupper. She was educated in Lisbon schools and graduated from Lisbon High School with the Class of 1968.

On May 9, 1981, she married Brad Danse. Together they made their home in West Bowdoin. She attended the Shiloh Chapel in Durham.

Among her interests was crafting, for which she will always be remembered as a master crafter. Many referred to her as a creative genius. A walk in her home would prove that true to all. She also enjoyed her crossword puzzles and cutting everyone in the family’s hair as the family barber. She loved her two dogs and her birds, a blue and gold macaw and a cockatiel.

Her greatest pleasure in life, however, was spending time with her family. She will be remembered most for her dedication to her family, especially to her husband, Brad. She will be sadly missed, but always remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Brad, of West Bowdoin; her mother and father of Lisbon Falls; two sons, Blaine L. Smith of Lisbon Falls, and Brad M. Danse Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren, Bailey, Taylor and Carter Danse of Virginia; two sisters, Sharon and her husband, Jerry Severson, of Shasta Lake, Calif., and Janis and her husband, Dennis Browning, of Lisbon Falls; and a cousin, Kathie Crooker of Lisbon Falls.

She was predeceased by several aunts and uncles.
