SWANZEY, N.H. (AP) – Police suspect that three 14-year-olds who used bicycles as getaway vehicles are responsible for a rash of late-night burglaries.

Police say two of the boys are from Winchester and one is from Swanzey.

Chief Richard Busick said a call from one suspects mother was the break police needed. He said the mother reported her son had some antique swords and hunting knives matching the description of items stolen from an antique store last month.

Police say they believe that nearly every night for about two weeks the boys sneaked out of their homes after their parents were asleep, hopped on their bikes and cruised around, breaking into buildings.
