LEWISTON – The Lewiston Public Library will host a holiday children’s sing-along, featuring Jake Paris singing familiar holiday favorites, from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22.

A booklet with lyrics will be provided. Hot cocoa will be served after. Participants are encouraged to bring their own fresh baked cookies to share. The program is free, but will require tickets, which can be obtained by contacting the children’s department at 784-0135, ext 4.

Paris, a multi-instrumentalist, has been playing guitar for 12 years. He teaches music lessons to children in the Lewiston area. His style is playful and participatory.

The library will also launch its Adopt-a-Book program in which participants are encouraged to donate $15 to pay for a library book. A dedication is placed in the book and the family is the first to check it out.

For more information, call the Lewiston Public Library at 784-0135, ext 4.
