SALEM, N.H. (AP) – New Hampshire is encouraging senior centers to apply for new grants to expand their services.
As part of a senior wellness program, the state is asking the 52 senior centers across New Hampshire to request state grants for up to $2,500. The states says $60,000 is up for grabs.
Under the program, it will be up to the centers to figure out how to use the grants to improve their residents’ lives. The grants are designed for programs that promote things such as health, exercise and nutrition.
