Everywhere, in stores, on television, even in school, the word holiday is what we see. The word Christmas is disappearing.

The idea is not to offend anyone, but if people really think about it, isn’t it offensive to those who celebrate this time of year for what it is – Christ’s birthday?

When it comes to Veterans Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and such, people don’t use the word holiday.

I find the trend disturbing and sad.

If some people don’t like Christmas for what it stands for – Jesus’ birthday – then those people ought to get their own holiday.
