The state of Maine has given a break to homosexuals. I am a black man, born and raised in Georgia. Compared to what I grew up with in that community, Maine’s gays don’t know what discrimination really is.

A long time ago, my folks moved to Detroit to find work. I’ve always worked in the construction field, and Maine pays better than Georgia.

Most black folks that I know are not that sympathetic with gays who claim discrimination.
