MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – The Fisher Cats ballpark plans to host concerts and other events next summer.
The majority owner of the Fisher Cats, Boston businessmanArthur Solomon, said he has set up an entertainment company and hired a former baseball general manager to schedule concerts and festivals in the riverfront stadium.
He declined to name any potential acts, saying no contracts have been signed yet.
The subsidiary is called DSF Sports and Entertainment. It is a subsidiary of DSF Real Estate Investors, a Boston private equity firm where Solomon is chief executive and president.
Solomon bought a 60 percent share in the Fisher Cats this year.
