MECHANIC FALLS – A Christmas Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, at the First Congregational Church. All are welcome.
Legion meeting
LISBON – Coombs Mountfort Post 158, American Legion, and Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, the post home, Webster Street. The photos taken at the children’s Christmas party are at the post.
Bridge play
NEW GLOUCESTER – The New Gloucester Bridge Club met Dec. 18 at the Masonic Building.
Finishing first were Linda Leotsakos and Audrey Burns, with Darcy Page and Sherrie Baker tied with Sally Johnston and Pat Schlegel.
The next game will be Jan. 8, and a partner is guaranteed. For information, call Les Buzzell at 783-4153. All bridge players are welcome.
