NOTTINGHAM, N.H. (AP) – A new group has joined the fight against a proposed water bottling plant in Nottingham.

The group, Neighborhood Guardians, has appealed the town planning board’s site review approval for USA Springs water bottling plant. It was formed this month specifically to appeal the board ruling.

USA Springs plans to withdraw almost 310,000 gallons of water per day from underground water sources that also feed private wells.
