RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Eva M. Mooney was celebrated Saturday, Dec. 17, at St. Athanasius and St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as celebrant.

Altar server was George Gionet, and organist was Mark Belanger. Reader was Arita Zitoli. The eulogy was given by a son, James Mooney. Special music was “Ave Maria.”

Pallbearers were John Mooney, James Mooney, Robert Mooney, Patrick Mooney, Alphonse Thibodeau and Robert Thibodeau. Interment will be in the spring at St. John Cemetery in Rumford. A reception followed the Mass at St. Theresa’s Church parish hall in Mexico.
