Everything is still.

Not a sound can be heard.

A white fluffy blanket covers tree tops and houses.

People snuggle in there warm cozy beds.

Kids anxious to lay in the snow.

Kittens cuddle as they sleep with their mother and purr.

Dogs snore as they flop and spread

their fat stomach across the carpet.

One little snowflake, two little snowflake.

Fall.

Falling.

Snow.

Nighttime gently falls on me

part of night times ebony

one star in the sky appears

a silver drop, a single tear

Through the phantom of a pine

the moon turns her round face toward mine

with the fading of the sun

day is over night’s just begun
