LEWISTON – Robert J. Fisher, 81, of North Turner, died on Sunday, Dec. 18, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1924, the son of Henry and Alma (Cote) Fisher of North Turner.

He worked for 38 years and retired from International Paper in Jay. He loved to hunt and fish and work in his garden.

He is survived by his brother, Henry B. Poisson; and sisters, Lorraine Fisher and Lily May Cormier; and many nieces, nephews and very good friends.

He was predeceased by his father and mother; two brothers, Emil and Donald; and a sister, Shirley Swisher.
