Our president, George W. Bush, issues statements that he is for all Americans. I find those statements to be a downright lie. The lower and the middle classes are receiving little from his tax cuts. His administration has cut programs for the disabled. And, to date, many disabled and elderly have yet to receive any assistance with heating costs.

It is stated in the Bible that “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:24)

Republicans are currently downing the Democrats. Remember when Gov. John McKernan was running for a second term? He said the state was in great shape financially. Well, he lied. Sales taxes went up 1 percent and income taxes increased. Or George H.W. Bush’s statement about no new taxes. Another lie.

I encourage all taxpayers to think before they go to the polls to vote.
