I, like so many others, take exception to all the hoopla that is going around to eliminate references to God from our daily lives. I write this as a non-Christian. I am Jewish and proud of it. My wife is Catholic, and I am proud of her as well.

We all owe our lives to God. There is one God, and he is nondenominational, to my way of thinking and believing. How each of us pray to Him is our right and privilege. This country was founded by those looking to be free of persecution and to preserve their religious beliefs. Their prayers were answered, and here we are in this wonderful land.

If those opposed to the usage of God in our daily lives would take one suggestion from this person perhaps they might see the light: Don’t accept or use any of our currency that contains any reference to God on it. I believe that they will soon learn a lesson in economics, but, more important, in the rights most of us cherish – In God We Trust.
