FARMINGTON – A Livermore woman is accused of bringing oxycodone into the Franklin County jail for an inmate charged with robbing a Wal-Mart pharmacy last month.

Amber Lawicka, 19, was charged with possession of scheduled W drugs and trafficking in prison contraband on Saturday, said Franklin County sheriff’s Deputy Ken Charles on Wednesday.

Charles said Lawicka and another female went to the jail Saturday to visit Shawn Lord, 22, of Eustis. Lord is accused of attempting to rob Howard’s Rexall drugstore and robbing a Wal-Mart pharmacy of drugs in November. Both stores are in Farmington.

He also is facing numerous other charges in several cases, including attempting to acquire oxycodone with a forged prescription in October. He is being held on $25,000 cash bail or $75,000 worth of property.

Oxycodone is a prescription narcotic pain reliever.

Charles said corrections officers did a random search of Lawicka and found several oxycodone pills on her before she visited Lord.

He said he also arrested Lord on a charge of violating bail conditions and charged him with trafficking in prison contraband as an accomplice on the receiving end.

Lawicka was also charged with civil possession of drug paraphernalia, Charles said. She was released from jail on personal recognizance on Monday, he said.

The investigation is ongoing, Charles said, because he wants to know where she got the oxycodone.
