SACO – Antoinette B. Guilmet, 93, formerly of Lewiston, died Dec. 22 at Seal Rock Health Care, after several years of declining health.

She was born in Auburn on Feb. 8, 1912, a daughter of Jules and Marie Louise (Begin) Beaudry, and attended St. Louis School in Auburn.

She had been a communicant of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, and in recent years, of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Berwick. She was a member of the Ladies of Ste. Anne.

She enjoyed crocheting, picture puzzles, word puzzles and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Carmen Blanchette of North Berwick; two grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. Guilmet, in 1976; by a son, Gerard Guilmet, in 1998; and by a grandson, Mark Blanchette, in 1995.
