Square dance
PARIS – The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club will hold its monthly square and round dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street.
Scott Williams of Auburn will call for the square dancing, alternating class level and plus level. He will also cue the rounds.
Refreshments will be served at intermission. Nondancers are welcome.

Bridge results
LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Dec. 20 were: first, Patricia Garcia and David Lock; second, Lucille Bilodeau and Alberta Turner; third, Nancy Farmer and Nancy Lindgren; fourth, Martine Begert and Luke Merry; fifth, first in B, Cynthia Clifford and Ellie Wigton; second in B, Bim Clifford and Lindy Wigton.
Winners at Schooner Estates in Auburn on Dec. 21 were: N/S, first, Anna Vitiello and Larry Fortier; second, Martine Begert and Patricia Garcia; third, Tom Dahlberg and David Wallace; E/W, first, Katie Love and Don Smith; second, Sherrie Hinckley and Fred Letourneau; third, third, Dot Kelleher and Mike St. John.
The quarterly club championships will be played at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, and at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 783-1734 for more information.
