Imagine being wished “Happy Kwanzaa,” and replying back, “Happy Kwanzaa” in recognition of that cultural holiday.
And imagine being wished “Happy Hanukkah” and responding with “Happy Hanukkah” in return, honoring the spirit of mutual fellowship. Then imagine hearing “Merry Christmas” in reply to this season’s Christian greeting, once again in recognition of our shared humanity in the reverence of worship.
Imagine what a wonderful world this would be.
