The shame of it all is when we’ve got the money to spend on jet fuel for a stupid air show, but not enough money to help the ones who can’t afford the high cost of fuel to stay warm this winter.

This past summer at the Brunswick Naval Air Station, the military put on the air show that consumed thousands of gallons of jet fuel. That’s just for one show.

But money is running out to buy fuel for the needy and for seniors, for fuel assistance programs. The government says it only has enough money for a half a tank of fuel.

So then what? Why? Should seniors and the needy have to worry about freezing this winter?

I say again, as I’ve said before, there is no logical reason for the prices to rise on fuel when the companies claim to have such large profits.
