DECATUR, Ill. – Ruth A. Rotz, 96, formerly of Warrensburg, Ill., died Monday, Dec. 19, at Imboden Creek Living Center.

She was born Dec. 11, 1909, in Niantic, Ill., the daughter of Benjamin and Adeline (Hickman) Kizer. She married R. Harold Rotz on Oct. 31, 1931, in Decatur, Ill.

Ruth was a member of Harristown Christian Church. She was also a member of Sunshine Club and Illini Chapter 813 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her children, Ann Wubben and husband, Robert, of Carlinville, Ill., John L. Rotz and wife, Mary, of Warrensburg, Ill., Walter H. Rotz and wife, Linda, of Auburn; grandchildren, Jill Albertine and husband, Lynden, Sue Horn, Craig Wubben and Robert and Andrea Rotz; and one niece and one nephew.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, R. Harold, in 1990; one brother; and three sisters.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Imboden Creek Living Center for their tender and loving care of Ruth and also her roommate, Betty Walker.
