TURNER – Dorothy Aldrich, 83, of Turner Square Apartments, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 18, passing unexpectedly from heart failure at her home.

She was born in Fairfield, Conn., Oct. 26, 1922, the daughter of John and Anna Pulaski Brecklin.

She was employed for many years as a factory worker and nanny. She was a member of Wayside Bible Baptist Church in Livermore, where she taught Sunday School and loved being with the little ones. She also had a Bible study at her home on Thursdays.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, various crafts and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Aldrich-Caron and her husband, Michael, of North Turner, Deborah Garcelon of Templeton, Mass., and Donna Karacius and her husband, Dave, of Sutton, Mass.; three sons, Bruce Snape and his wife, Linda, and Tommy Snape, all of California, and Dale Snape of Oklahoma; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, of whom the last born was Emily Lynn Tibbetts in October; and a sister, Florence Bushinsky of Devon, Conn.
