LEWISTON – Theresa E. “Terry” Lebel, 73, of Randall Road, went home to her Lord on Friday, Dec. 30, after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on April 21, 1932, the daughter of Leo and Lucienne (Sutton) Larochelle, and attended local Lewiston schools.

Terry married her beloved husband of 54 years, Alfred J. Lebel, in Lewiston on Oct. 20, 1951.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her children.

She was a devout Christian; many looked up to her for her wisdom, advice, leadership and impeccable character. She was a longtime participant of the Good News and Fellowship Church in Lewiston.

Terry is survived by her husband, “Fred” Lebel, of Lewiston; daughters, Lee Hedrick and husband, Jeff, of Hartford, Linda Cloutier of Litchfield and Lisa Lebel of Lewiston; a brother, Leo Larochelle and wife, Claudette, of Lewiston; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one nephew; and one niece.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for their care and compassion.
