CARROLL, N.H. (AP) – A two-alarm fire at a motel that’s part of the Bretton Woods resort destroyed much of the building and forced guests to evacuate Saturday night.
Resort spokesman Chip Steward said no one was injured in the fire that started around 6 p-m. Guests who were displaced by the fire were being taken in at other area hotels, he said.
Steward said the fire appears to have started in a room on the second floor and spread. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
