CONCORD, N.H. – Hazel W. Saunders, 71, of Shore Drive, Northwood, N.H., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at the Concord Hospital.

She was born on July 6, 1934, in Dixfield, the daughter of the late Frank M. Weld and Susie (Spaulding) Weld.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Northwood. She was a graduate of Dixfield High School in 1952. Hazel also worked for the Bank of New Hampshire in Concord for 13 years and Grappone Truck Center in Concord for several years.

She is survived by her husband, Lionel F. (Dag) Saunders; one daughter, Jessica Davis and her husband, Robert of Palm Bay, Fla.; one brother, Fred Weld and his wife, Irene of Dixfield; one sister, Evelyn Ionta and her husband, Bitsy of Dixfield; and one granddaughter, Ariana.
