ADMITTED GUILT: Lobbyist Jack Abramoff pleaded guilty Tuesday to federal charges of conspiracy, tax evasion and mail fraud.
PLEA BARGAIN: Abramoff agreed to cooperate in an influence-peddling investigation believed to be focusing on as many as 20 members of Congress and their aides.
COSTLY SENTENCE: Along with his former business partner, Michael Scanlon, Abramoff is expected to face restitution costs of $25 million. He also will be required to pay $1.7 million for unpaid taxes and faces up to 11 years in prison.
